In March 2018 we supplied Dilokong hospital with medical equipment funded by Modikwa Platinum mine as a donation by a mine as part of community development.

Our success stories
On the 2nd of April 2018 there was a petrol bomb incident where 6 mineworkers were killed when the bus caught fire. Mimed provided counselling to all employees who were affected by this incident including family members. The program was a success as the majority of affected employees managed to return to work within a short space of time.
On the 1st of July 2018 Mimed officially opened an onsite primary healthcare clinic at Black Chrome mine which is operated by well experienced professional nurses. The clinic operates twice a week which is every Tuesday and Thursday s though there is an outcry by both employees and management for extension of the services to 24hours every day following excellence or quality service delivery by mimed nursing staff. I’m glad to announce that we are currently awaiting Service level agreement with the Mine to be signed.
In August 2018 we provided an on-site occupational healthcare service using mobile unit to Ngungwa development (PTY) Ltd employees at Vuwani in Limpopo province. It was an exciting experience for our employees and we worked from 10h00am in the morning until 20H00pm at night on that particularly day.
